Annette has spent over 36 years working for Birmingham City Council and has led and developed a range of digital projects using different technologies and devices working in conjunction with a range of partners from across the public, private and voluntary sectors. She has delivered and implemented high profile pilot projects with Department of Work and Pensions and has presented at conferences on digital-by-default in the public sector and digital inclusion. She has written successful funding bids and is working on a number of European Funded projects which has demonstrated the benefits of the role of digital technology across a range of business areas including housing, environmental, education, employment , and health. She is an advocate for digital and is a great networker who can bring together partners to collaborate on projects for the benefit of all. She was named in 2013 as one of the top 20 Digital Leaders by Digital by Default news. In her spare time she is a Director of Citysave, Birmingham largest Credit Union and is a Director of a Social Enterprise internet community radio station BlazeFM. She has a BA in Business and Administration as well as Prince 2 Project Management Qualifications.
