Wednesday 25th September will see the inaugural Capturing Talent event take place at the prestigious new Library of Birmingham, which was opened earlier this month by Councillor Ian Ward .
Organised through Birmingham Employment and Skills Board the Capturing Talent event has emerged from the “Closing the Skills GAP” Report of the Birmingham Economy & Jobs Overview and Scrutiny Committee which was published in December 2012, and aims to discuss with local businesses in the City the best way of:
- - finding
- - capturing and
- - employing talent in Birmingham
by looking at employability skills and recruitment practices. Be it a school leaver or graduate, relocation or promotion, this event wants to understand the priorities of Birmingham businesses when going through the process of finding the right talent.
Taking place from 1:30 – 5:00 pm on Wednesday 25th September 2013,and if you haven’t yet had the chance to visit the impressive new Library of Birmingham, Capturing Talent provides you with the perfect opportunity – Part consultation, part sharing of best practice and experience, this event is a must for those wanting to grow their business in Birmingham with the right people in the right jobs.
