Buckinghamshire County Council are holding a launch event of the Transport Data Initiative on 30th June, at the Transport Systems Catapult in Milton Keynes.
TDI is a transport authority-led forum supported by industry specialists in the public and private sector. The forum, which will take place quarterly, aims to:
- Promote co-operative working between authorities, and break down barriers/silos
- Disseminate information about leading edge transport technology
- Encourage the development of innovative solutions to transport challenges
TDI is driven by local authorities and will focus on the particular transport challenges we face. As well as discussing the latest developments in transport technology, the forum will also provide information about ongoing service transformation projects which seek to implement these new technologies. One such project is oneTRANSPORT, the consortium partners of which will be in attendance.
The event is free to attend and will run from 09:30-16:30. Food will be provided. The venue is a short walk from Milton Keynes railway station, though guests travelling by car will need to pay for parking.
The organisers anticipate high demand for this event and as such are limiting the number of attendees per organisation to 2 persons. If you would like to attend, or if you have any further questions, contact David Aimson via firstname.lastname@example.org
