Get your kids into coding with BBC!

Coding Brum is BBC Birmingham’s monthly coding club which is held from 1pm-4pm, upstairs in the BBC Birmingham Public Space on Level 3 of The Mailbox, Birmingham (B1 1AY). The sessions take place on the second Saturday of every month, and there’s no cost for the club.

It’s open to all under-18s with an interest in coding – prior knowledge is helpful but not required. Coders aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the whole session.

The club is an informal meeting where coders have the opportunity to self-teach among their peers, work together to learn from each other, or take part in workshops devised by our mentors.

All coders need to bring their own hardware if possible (e.g. a laptop), but the club can lend you a raspberry pi if you don’t have a laptop – please let them know in advance.

Please e-mail CodingBrum@bbc.co.uk if you’re planning to go or if you'd like more information.

The next meet-up is on Saturday 11 May 2019!
