BGF, HubSpot and Cognition join forces to teach leaders secrets of business growth
BGF, the UK and Ireland’s most active investor in growing businesses, will join leading marketing technology company HubSpot to reveal the secrets of psychology and technology that drive business growth in a one-off event in Birmingham.
Hosted by Cognition, one of the UK’s leading digital agencies, the event on 31st october is an opportunity for businesses in the West Midlands to learn how leaders of successful household brands have harnessed technology to reduce operating costs and drive growth.
Among them is Simon Calver, BGF Investor, Chair of business card company Moo.com and chemistdirect. Calver is best known for his seven-year tenure as CEO at LOVEFiLM – leading to its eventual exit to Amazon in 2011. He went on to become CEO of Mothercare plc, kickstarting the turnaround plan and accelerating international expansion in over 30 countries.
Dr. Peter Hughes, psychologist and Co-Founder of Cognition, will demonstrate how the blend of technology and psychology is the key to humanising technology and unlocking sales growth.
