Over 7 million people in the UK only use the internet in a limited way. They are online but aren’t improving their digital skills. And compared to people who are not online at all, they are more likely to be seeking work or in low-paid employment.
Good Things Foundation, funded by Google, is delivering Make It Click to help 30,000 of these individuals to gain the confidence and digital skills they need to thrive online - becoming regular, confident, capable and safe users of digital technology, achieving positive outcomes in life and work.
We’re encouraging applications from Online Centres that can support learners who wish to progress in employment or find a new job; those who are socially excluded, or those who run small businesses. Successful organisations will need to deliver a programme of tailored support that engages learners, assesses their skills gaps and provides face-to-face and online support.
Delivery for this round of funding runs from Wednesday 1st January 2020 to Thursday 31st December 2020, and we are offering four contract sizes that Online Centres can apply for: £1,250, £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000.
If you’re interested in applying for grant funding, please read the following guidance. Applications will open at 9 AM on Monday 21st October and closes at 5 PM on Friday 8th November 2019 via the Online Centres Network website.
