Birmingham City Council is the largest local authority in the UK with a gross annual expenditure budget of £3.3 billion and serves a population of over 1.1 million citizens. The Information, Technology and Digital Services Division is seeking two experienced business engagement leads to be part of the newly established business engagement team. This team plays an integral role in supporting the Council through its transformation journey. It is responsible for ensuring a value-based partnership and highly productive results between IT&DS and internal clients and overseeing a portfolio of clients and business processes. They will act as an advocate to communicate the IT&DS Strategy to Council business areas and suppliers, capture new and revised business needs and work closely with the Head of Business Solutions and Suppliers to ensure business solutions align correctly to the BCC Enterprise Architecture and Design Principles enabling innovation, standardisation, simplification, sharing and reuse.
