Open Data

Project timeframe: 2010 - Present

Digital Birmingham have been leading the Open data agenda on behalf of the City and has been working closely with Birmingham City Council's Customer Knowledge Team. Internally, we are working closely with Corporate Information Management, and externally we have set up the West Midlands Open Data Forum to bring together the user community and other data activities. Working with them and Centro, Amey and secondary healthcare providers, we have established an initial list of data sets that have the potential to deliver economic / social value and identified data sets that are now available to view on Birmingham's Open Data Factory portal.
